COLD WATER IMMERSION · COLDTUB™

Hot is half of it.

Heat opens the body. Cold closes it again, hard and deliberately.
Used together — a long soak, a short plunge, repeated — the two
do something neither does alone, which is why almost every
serious recovery room in the world has both. We sell both, and
we can site them side by side.

ABOUT COLDTUB™

Built to last decades, not a season.

COLDTUB™ builds a cold plunge to last decades rather than
a season. Manufactured in Nashville, Tennessee, and
specified for commercial rooms that see hundreds of
people a day — which is a reasonable standard for
something that will see one household.

THE MODELS

Icepod Plus & Icebreaker

ONE PERSON

Icepod Plus

The most popular COLDTUB™, sized to fit any individual and any kind of plunge. Temperature range 35–104 °F, so the same vessel does cold work in the morning and warm work in the evening. Dead Sea salt sanitation runs automatically, filtration is down to one micron, and you set the temperature from your phone.

two PERSON

Icebreaker

The world’s first two-person cold plunge. Same 35–104 °F range, same automated sanitation and one-micron filtration as the Icepod Plus, with room for two. Cold immersion is easier to keep up when someone else is in the water — that is most of the argument for this model.

WHY PEOPLE PLUNGE

Benefits of Coldtub

People use cold immersion for recovery after training, for the mood lift that follows a plunge, for sleep, and
for the alertness that comes with it. Effects vary between people, and none of this is medical advice — start
short, start supervised, and build slowly.

Recovery

Reduces the build-up of lactic acid and helps with swelling

Mood

The plunge triggers a dopamine response

Sleep

Supports the body's own melatonin cycle

Energy & alertness

The effect most people notice first

Metabolism

Cold exposure raises metabolic demand

CONTRAST THERAPY

Build the whole room.

A contrast set is a hot tub, a cold plunge and somewhere to sit between them. We can plan all three on one pad, on one electrical design, delivered together. If you already own an Arctic Spa, adding
cold is usually simpler than people expect.

The practical questions are always the same three: is there room, is there power, and does the drainage work. We answer them on site, before anyone commits to a model.
